New Orleans Structural Steel Beams – Professional Installation Service and Quality Products
Wondering what material will be best to give a solid support to the structure of your property? If you ask us, it definitely has to be a steel beam. These beams are super-solid and the entire roof can be supported on them. Big Easy Iron Works offers comprehensive services when it comes to building steel beams and installing them in your property. We know how critical steel beams can be for a house or any structure. That is why we have some of the most experienced engineers working with us who would inspect the structure of the property with a blueprint and suggest the type of steel beam that would be suitable for the project.
Giving a New Dimension to any Property
If you are looking for a company that offers a wide range of steel beams, then we are here to help. Our team of engineers and workers work together to make sure that the beams that will be installed are long-lasting. Beams support the top half of any property and it is important to provide quality beams and installation. You can rely on us to get high-quality steel beams at pocket-friendly prices. Depending on the structure of the building, we can also use steel tubing or sheet metal required for your needs.
The steel we use is solid enough to support the weight of the building. So you can understand how strong they will be to support just the ceiling. We also provide appropriate beams for walls, too. You can check some of the types of beams that we use for properties. They come in different sizes, shapes, and styles and are designed according to the structure of the building. Our team will help design and develop the correct beams for your property.
One of the reasons why Big Easy Iron Works has been successful in so many construction projects is because of the dedication and hard work of the our team. We are already one of the leading steel supply companies in the city, but to take it to another level through the installation process, it has only been possible because of the people who are involved in the steel section.
Type of Steel Beams that Big Easy Iron Works Offers
Quality and variety are two factors that have helped us to keep a couple of steps ahead of other companies. We just didn’t want to limit ourselves as a sheet metal supplier. That is the reason why we have come up with developing steel beams that come in a variety of sizes and types. Here are some of the types given below:
Fixed beams
These are the most common beams that we have used for numerous projects. They are simple to develop and easy to install. These beams are fixed at both ends to give a solid structure to the ceiling or wall. Once the beam is installed, you can be assured that it will last for years without any signs of disturbance or damage.
Simply Supported Beams
These beams are used when the upper surface has a sloping design. Often, there are buildings that have a sloping ceiling like an umbrella. That is when we suggested supported beams instead of the other available beams. The beams rest on supports on either end. They are bent slightly to adjust to the sloping structure of the ceiling.
Continuously Supported Beam
When ceilings or the roof is designed in the form of a wave or like asbestos, such structures need continuously supported beam. The buildings that have such beams do not have a roof. They just have a ceiling that is designed with lots of curves. They are excellent for areas that experience heavy rainfall throughout the year.
Cantilever Beam
This is a beam that is fixed on one end and the other end is free. The fixed end is held together with a clamp. These are used in buildings that have a hanging roof or the factory sheds that slope down.
In addition to these beams, we also develop curved beams, tapered beams, overhanging beams, double overhanging beams, trussed beams, and many others.
